cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch I was invited to be a 5th Dimension team driver and received a care package today. I couldnt wait to see this chassis together and wasted no time replacing my old Ringer. Im stoked to get this thing on the rocks soon. Heres a quick run down of the parts list. Big thanks to Travis and Steve at the 5th Dimension for giving me the opportunity."thumbsup" 5th Dimension Suck Punch chassis 5th Dimension Negative Space wheels AX10/XR10 axles w/Grip Fab Ti spools AX10 tranny w/Robinson gears and RCP Ti shafts Brood Conflux 30t motor Futaba BLS157 servo FXR shaved Boss Claws Losi Comp Crawler driveshafts SCX10 shocks w/machined pistons MRC silver springs in front MRC Blue springs in back Ti rear axle shafts http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...psf014e50a.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...ps157accc3.jpg http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...psd1948e30.jpg |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Looking Good Chris Congrats on being a Team Driver. |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Looks good mangZ when you have time I think you should consider changing you links to move the chassis forward a bit between the axles. Looks like you shock angles are having to compensate for that difference a bit. But for just slapping it together, it looks like it should run well. |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Damn man! Not much going on today? I thought I slapped my trucks together quick:ror: Looks killer Chris |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Welcome to the team.. build'em fast & drive them hard. |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Lookin good.,welcome.to the team! |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Nice to see another 5th D rig on the scene (two actually). |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Thanks for the compliments, glad to be part of the 5th D team. There will be some changes soon but for building two cars in one night its pretty close to how I want it. Some tuning in the next couple days will let me know what doesn't work and I'll post up the results of what I find out."thumbsup" |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Looking good "thumbsup" nice N low 8) can't wait to fondle it on Saturday  did you get the pro done yet it's been 2 days? :lmao: |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Ran it today, not changing anything for the comp on Saturday except maybe painting a new body (cracking bad). This car is a great replacement for my old Ringer and performs just as good if not better, very happy with the current set up. |
Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Glad to hear it is performing better than a Nats winning chassis design. Hit up Crawllife if you need some paint work done. Steve and I have both commissioned him to rehash our schemes"thumbsup" |

Re: cboggs' 5th D Sucker Punch Looks good! |
I dig your body mounts can't beat them for the price:thumbup: I used 1/4 20 wind nuts with the wings shaved off of them for a more rounded head and haven't had any issues with taking them off. |
