Not bad good torque and good price but it's slow... but that doesn't really matter in crawling so ya looks pretty good

Speed is a big factor in crawling too. Faster the better.

Yes that's true for sure... Sometimes the wiggle is the best thing you can do to move

i have also try many servos like Xp,savox, axial, hpi, futaba, tower and many other junks, untill i have found hitec.it's awesome,i know it's a little pricey, but i didn't regret the choice, now i don't trust any servo(at least in crawler aplications) but hitec

Is not a standard size servo. It's 1/5 size....

Hello, firstly i would like to excuse myself for digging up an old thread, but it seemed relevant to my question and i rather use existing thread than create new one.

I want to ask about servo that is mentioned here, the

TGY-1270HV Metal gear Digital Servo w/ Heat Sink 40kg / .18sec / 170g

Does anyone here bought it, have it still or maybe remember something about it?

I would be very grateful for information on its operating angle range, how far it can rotate?

For example is it -60 and +60 degree from neutral position (total 120 degree) or maybe its smaller like -45,0,+45 (total 90 degree) or something other?

I can generate very wide control signal to operate this servo (from 64 us to 3280 us) thats why i need to know what its maximum angle range (when its limited by some kind of internal mechanical blockade).

Also, not so important but how many tooths does the spline have and whats its diameter?

I will be extremely helpful for any help.
And sorry again for digging up this topic.

Regards,
Konrad

I have bought servos and radios from HK. Not the best quality and HK's customer service sucks. Spent a week exchanging email about a servo that failed upon instillation. Each email had progressively more and more Chinenglish in it's content. You know no ticky no washie Charley Chan dialog. Finally gave up. Personally I will never again purchase electronics from them. Their batteries are ok. If that's your maximum budget for a good servo, look for used. Either way it's a crap shoot.

Your best bet would be to ask on the hobbyking forum.
