driveshaft issue

Hey guys, I set out to build a crawler and ended up with a sporty AX10 thing. SCX axles, SCX trans with HR dig unit. It has 4WS and I doubt it will ever see a real competition. Its built for fun. The issue I have is with the rear shaft. The HR dig unit really limits the diameter of the shaft I can use at the trans. I had a stock axial shaft in there and after a few bounces its destroyed.

What is a good solid strong shaft that will fit here? I have a set of worn junfac shafts but I don't like them as they don't like to slide very well when under load and this DIG needs the shaft to slide easily.

Any help would be appreciated

Joe

Well never mind on the driveshaft issue. I just seen that VP has their hurts shifters on sale for $69.99 shipped so I have one ordered. No black in stock so I went silver

Anyway for strong drive shaft, MIP is unbeatable but they are heavy. Junfac is actually quite good except a bit of slop. Other than that, Maxx shaft is light and strong.

I have MIPS and junfacs and traxxas stuff but on the HR dig unit there isn't much room at all for anything much larger then a stock axial shaft. I don't really like the HR dig so I ordered the VP hurtz dig. I can run any shaft on that and it's a better unit from what I see.
