Default Suspension help

Got a used AX10 Scorpion the other day. Got it going and the suspension is so soft that every time you give it gas the left rear squats so bad that the body rubs the tire. The problem is it stays leaning like that after it does it. Whats wrong with the shocks on this thing? Could they need oil? Also what are the clips between the spring and the top of the shocks for?

We need more info.. Or a pic..

It could be lots of things. All depends on the setup.

It all stock an. Has been used very little. Can't imagine it would need stiffer springs just to drive it and make the body not rub. The guy I got it from said he drive it 10 times

Grab some 30wt and take them apart and rebuild the shocks. 10wt (imho) is way too thin...you want the thicker oil to dampen better.

How much oil goes in each shock? Also any 30 weight oil or rc car oil only?
