Another CCC Boxer Sporty

Hi there,

I'm opening a thread to show you my little sporty build.

This truck will be based on ClassiCutCustoms products :
- CCC boxer 2.2S chassis
- CCC Ti lower and upper links
- CCC front servo plate + CCC electronic tray
- CCC rear upper link plate
- CCC bulldog tranny + AL spool and main Ti Shaft

Thanks Barry for all the advices, availability and excellent products "thumbsup"
This truck will be comp ready, no doubt ;-)

This truck will be powered by a Team Brood 30T CONFLUX motor with all Team Brood goodies on it 8)

For sure, I'll have RcBro items on it too : Rcbro beef tubes, steering arms, double ear weigth holders, ...

Very nice Sir! May I suggest you turn the bodies too? It makes them look so smooth!

Bergm@n 04-07-2015 02:43 PM

Re: Another CCC Boxer Sporty

Re: Another CCC Boxer Sporty

Now ... the main shaft of the tranny ...

It was useless for me to do it but I like doing useless things
What about AL 1 piece spool/shaft ?
It would be maybe 1g lighter than the CCC one and for sure, it will have less strength than the main CCC Ti shaft, but I want to play

Let's start !

Beautiful work with the lathe. Yes I too have made a one piece locker from 7075 and the results were not worth the efforts. Sometimes just the fun is in trying new things and I understand that too! [emoji41]
