New ax10 vs old for comp

What's your take on the old vs new and cost to build them into sick nasty comp rigs

Old school is probably cheaper but I wouldn't think by much. Biggest thing is performance. Newer rigs are light and turn like no other. Old school is just lacking options and reliability. Just my opinion tho

Re: New ax10 vs old for comp

I prefer the older ax10 for the centered axles vs the ocp ar60s that come stock on new ax10, although the ar60 is cheeper to make steer like a mad man; after that it comes down to chassis and suspension which will likely be reworked or changed out for upgraded versions if your comping imo.

Sick & nasty is always $$$$$$!

Pick an axle and there you go.

Both have endless possibilities.

That is 100% incorrect in every possible way.

You can't say something like that without an explication.

A. Yes he can.

B. You obviously have not searched or read much on the subject.

C. WTF is explication?

You didn't explain yourself either.

Even the most basic XR mod changes them.

To meet old school is SWX chassis either cvd's. The XR mod is new school if you ask me.

B. Newer chassis offer more options for shock and link tuning which is a super big plus.

C. All this is just my opinion and hey I could be wrong but who is really right? Everything is subjective to you and your opinion.

Take me for example.....I am 50% wrong 75% of the time, so now I just take the remainder 37% and apply that to the times that I am correct and it comes out to 89%
