Yup it really locates the servo lower and out of the way. No more damaged servos
When I first saw it hand to get one

Dan makes them for the AX-10 and the New TKO style axles

I ordered a smash plate today.
DO you have to use the axle collars or can the stock provisions handle the work?

No It comes with all the hardware to fit the stock Ax-10 axle housing ,I just modified things to make it fit with the CCC axle collars
The shorter spacers had to be used to fit the axle collars

Depending on your Shock / 4 link set up you may have to grind some clearance to clear the left side shock but that's no worries the battery still fit just fine
