The stock setup is esentially a 4 link. take a look at some of the vendors they are selling new servo plates that will convert it to 4 link.

The stock piece is as far from a 4 link as a Tri-cycle is like a Go-Kart.

You can buy from RCP or TCS. Both has good choices. You can even make your own. I posted a template awhile back. I'm running the RCP pieces since they were the first out. I'm told the TCS ones are delrin.

I believe pretty much any TLT servo plate can be drilled to work also..

Tell me then how using 2 attachment points side by side is that much different from 1 point. The best thing about the 4 link plates that are offered is it gets rid of the upper link popping out of the axle.

Not sure but of other resons. But the reson I did the change is to get rid of all the slop in the 3 link set up. After the mod was done removed 90% of slop @ axle. The link ends that bolt to chassis (upper) also have A little slop in them very little but it's there. Made my sevo plate/link plates w/ alum.
or RCP has some for sale and othe venders have some. look around some one was selling a pair for $10.00

Mine keeps popping off too, so I'm looking for a 4-link mount. Should I buy the TCS or RCP?

A 4 link frees up the truck. You have 4 full points that can freely pivot. 4 links on 8 balls than can sway and twist as needed all independently of each other.

In a 3 link you only have three. So both of the upper links are really only 1 even if it looks like "2" the way Axial made it. They can not independantly sway or twist as in a 4 link.

Less stress, on the mounts is the biggest difference

a 3 link will give you more articulation then a 4 link will. Less to bind. on the other hand a 4 link has better controll and less chance of braking because all the stress isnt focused on one piviot point.
