I have an AX10 with the X-Trail that I actually just listed for sale, I LOVE the chassis and I agree the built in shocktowers are nice on the X-Trail. I used a few tube braces side to side on mine, the chassis is extremely stiff leaving the suspension to do the actual flex work. It definitly out flexes my brothers SCX

I bought the last x trail conversion and have been testing it the past couple of days and I have driven a scx10 I must say that the xtrail out shines the scx10 it does have a little chassis flex but has always helped me to get over some big stuff. Granted I have 2.2 and my brothers scx10 has 1.9 it feels more responsive then the scx10 and articulation is there you do loose a little compared to running it as a ax10 but nothing that will make you wish you had not converted it. Over all impressions of the xtrail conversion im in love. It looks great handles great and for the money you can't go wrong. Setting up the droop is a little tricky but once setup right it's amazing. It flexes and drives like a real trail rig so once they're in stock pull the trigger. |

Would the stock axial scx10 shocks work better than the ax10 droop?

If you want softer, do you want softer spring tension or a softer motion?

So after reading all 41 pages I still have one question, what is the wheel base length? Actually I'm just wonder when the hardware pack will be available again, and where do I find the roof rack on the FJ, or is that a one off? Thanks Last edited by nathand; 01-02-2012 at 11:27 AM. |

Give us a couple weeks to get the hardware kits in stock as we are short staffed right now. Thanks.

I bought a used AX10 with the X-trail chassis. I like the look of it but something just didnt seem right when comparing it to the pictures of other people's x-trails. My shocks are mounted on the inside of the chassis rails. If I try to move them to the outside then they will rub the tires. hmmmmm Any ideas???

they rub the tires? Well, move the lower mounts in further towards the center.Usually thats the cause.

Hi there. I have an ax10 scorpion kit from circa 2010, and I just recently discovered the x-trail chassis. My question is, with thst chassis, will these 2 kits work to get me aluminum links? I have stock plastic now. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001UO..._S0Zoub0GZ6V50 Axial Hardware Upgrade Kit AXA1411 AX10 Scorpion RTR | eBay |
