I've found that a PT cruiser body works well for a comp body. It always lands on it's wheels."thumbsup"

Tell me where to find the PT Cruiser body. I'd like to see what it looks like.
I did find a couple fun bodies one of the un-supporters sites (just lookin-not buyin). How cool would it be drivin one of these???

PEDEcrawlerguy 11-04-2007 06:29 PM

hmm.... when they come out i'll get one, and the fenders will be the first thing to go....to clear the tires when flexin..i think it would look meaner with out fenders.. or at least realy trimmed

man, that golf cart body would be crazy lookin in a comp, especially if someone had the atv rider dude strapped on it...hmm.... that gave me an idea

If you're looking for a new comp worthy body, that isn't a bug, check out Losi's new Grappler body. "thumbsup"

You gotta remember the 70% rule guys.

I'm using the Tamiya Suzuki Swift Body.

There is no more 70% rule, it's just dimensions for 08'."thumbsup"

Sorry but on the AX10 the new Axial body looks horrible...

rush1517 11-05-2007 07:59 AM

The Rat body isn't bad, but I'd have to cut the fenders and get rid of those headlights.

not the best body around... but at least its a 1/10.. i really do not like the stadium truck 1/10s, they are in no way 1/10 their so small... and the same goes for the new Losi body for crawling, way too small.. why cant we just make proper scale size 1/10 bodies, it you wanna comp crawler just hack it or get a 1/10 touring car body which are smaller but still in scale.

Comp is competition, scale stuff stays with the scalers. In Truth most comp 2.2" would run 22" wheels, not so common in 1:1 crawling. Most 2.2" comp machines would also have to be a majority of crazy idea tubers, not plastic bodies.

I say leave the comp alone. I like where it is at. If you want more Scale look to the scale class.

I see what you're saying, but a nice small narrow body is what the comp guys need. It's the same in the 1:1 world of comp crawling, narrow chassis' have less to get hung up on. "thumbsup"
