Default A Losi Sneak Peek: A new body for your 2.2 Crawler

EDIT: Ok now you can contact anyone you want Here is a link to the info as promised and a little early too.
Thanks again everyone for the comments,
Rich

http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodID=LOSA8032

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT YOUR LOCAL HOBBY SHOP, HORIZON HOBBY or LOSI about this new body.

This is an exclusive look for the RCCrawlers members. PLEASE DO NOT LINK or POST THESE PICTURES ON OTHER SITES until after this Monday Nov 5.

There is no info about it as I'm showing you guys first. If Horizon or Losi gets any calls or emails, you will pretty much be "throwing me under the bus" and I will not be able to do this with future products. So please help me out.

This is the a new 2.2 Body we've come up with for the Axial AX-10 and other 2.2 Chassis'. It will only be available in .040" Crystal clear lexan, include a sticker sheet and window mask.
I will be able to provide more info such as price, part number and when they will be available this Sunday.

To answer your question: NO WE ARE NOT WORKING ON A CRAWLER. The bosses were happy with the success of the tires and gave me a chance to make a body, that's it.

So again PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT YOUR LOCAL HOBBY SHOP, HORIZON HOBBY or LOSI about this new body.

If you are in socal, I'll be running it at the comp in Cougar Buttes this weekend if you'd like to check it out.

I know it's not for everyone, but at least there will be another body option for your crawler
Thanks,
Rich

Thanks for the sneak peek Rich, I think it looks killer. It's awesome you're giving us the inside scoop directly. I'm sure the fellow RCC members will be respectful and await more details from you, instead of trying to contact anyone else for info.

Edit: I love the RCC sticker too. ;)

Nice and narrow, I like that.

Appreciate Losi showing us some attention.

Perhaps some of the other manufactures w/ see the success that Losi has enjoyed in the crawler market and join the fray.

He just asked us to wait until Sunday for more info, this is just a peek at the body. It's only a few days away. ;)

So I got a question for you Richard, when is Losi going to release a 2.2 kit? I have always loved your products and have used them for years. With the knowledge of racing behind a crawler, it would be a huge hit for sure. Anyone else feel the same way?

Very Nice Job Rich. Appears to be well thought out. Will be nice to have a truck body that does not have to be hacked spliced etc.

My thoughts exactly, I like the clean narrow look of this body better then the race truck bodies.
