"Hawaiian Gopher" a.k.a. "The Mongoose"
 

In Hawaii we don't have any Gophers. This tube chassis is the only one I've ever seen in real life. But we do have Mongoose, so I thought I'd change the name to give the build a personal touch.

Here's a couple teaser pics:). I'm going to break it down this week, make new upper links, a hood and mount the speed control under the hood. I'll post more pics later.

Those are GPM 4 inch Shocks from a PTI GRC kit.

Zip ties can be fun, but they're just temporary until I find permanent mounting places.

I'm going to use 6/32 all thread and sleeve it with the 1/4 aluminum rod for the uppers as well. The same as the lowers.

Just post up the pics of the rocks and we all will be happy with what ever you want to do! Paint it pink! Put flower stickers all over it, what ever you want you will be the man!8)

the really sad part is i didnt notice the fine body that was underneath the crawler......im so embarrassed lol, but nice btw "thumbsup"

Nice pics, however remember that there are YOUNG KIDS that look at this site. Maybe put them as attacements with Adult Only advisors. Don't mean to sound "Prudeish" but I am a parent and personally don't want my kids seeing these types of pics. :shock::roll:
