Default LED lightbar on Ridgecrest

Slapped on an LED lightbar from RC-Lighthouse. Used a 1/4" rubber grommet to route the wires through the body. The switch is mounted on the back, just below the little silver lift handle decal. I also installed the STRC steering kit, Axial beadlocks and Losi Comp Claw tires (they were on sale for $10.99 a pair).

Nice Lightbar! I wish I could do something like that, but mine was broke out of the box and is currently getting repaired.

The lightbar fits nice on the body.

Do you think it will still be there after your first roll?

Not sure. There's 4 screws that holds it on so it's pretty secure. RC Lighthouse has one that pivots (RPM one I think) but it's too wide for the roof. I don't bash the heck out of the Ridgecrest like I do with my Traxxas Slashes.

I run the losi tires on my wraith. Made a big difference crawling, can't beat the price.

Yeah, those were a good deal. I should go back to the store and see if they have any left.

Well have you rolled it yet to find out if lights stay on or break.

I've rolled it over on grass but not on rocks/ hard surface yet. I think it will survive a low speed roll but a major tumble will probably rip it off. We'll see.

I'd say put a roof rack on behind it and it would protect it more from rolls.

Lightbar has been holding up well. I've tumbled my Ridgecrest a few times now and nothing has broken or come loose. I like the idea of a roof rack for more protection. I'll have to look into that.
