| Selecting the right shock's
I'm running some proline shocks on my deadbolt but I'm thinking that maybe their too heavy. So my question is, what is the difference between the stock shock's and these aftermarket prolines? Would I benefit from running the stock ones until I'm able to pick up something better? Or should I stick with the prolines? Update: I'm not going for a scale look. All I'm worried about is performance. |

Great shocks are about tuning, but you have a crawler, not a race car. Buy a cheap set of integy aluminum shock tubes for the stock axial shocks. Then play with the oil & springs until you find the right combo......or buy the coolest looking do nothing shocks you can afford. Even the most expensive most praised set of shocks wont do crap if you dont do the tuning. |

I run stock shocks with black springs and TLR 27.5 wt oil and the perform flawlessly. Nothing fancy here and outperforms most of heavily upgraded rigs.
