|  Is it possible to put a Ridgecrest body on a Deadbolt?
I realize the chassis is the same for both versions of the vehicle, but are parts still available to convert a Deadbolt to a Ridgecrest? I just prefer the way the Ridgecrest body looks, but I'm a few years late to the party.

Yes, it is very simple to put a ridgecrest body on a Deadbolt ax10. All you'll need is a different body post for the rear, like this one:  You may have to adjust the front body posts a little. |

Cool. Are the bumpers the same? What about the frame that wraps around the front fenders on the Ridgecrest? Is that included with the Ridgecrest body? [EDIT: Answered my own question, nevermind.] What would really be nice is if I could just find a stock Ridgecrest body and put that on. I don't care about custom paint jobs, not on something that's going to get bashed and crashed and smashed. (more than likely this will end up being driven by children.) Ridgecrest body is way better then the Deadbolt body in my opinion. Deadboly body just looks all wrong. There is sifferent body mounts for the deadbolt and Ridgecrest. Only the rear one is different. |
