35kg @7.4v Bluebird servo with VP 20mm horn and SuperShafty Mount

I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping the Bluebird, but it does look great with the orange Meths

Nice build!

I'm lovin' them sexy wheels! Good to know that the 225 hubs fit!

Nice rear bulk, I plan on adding one to mine as well!

Nice rear bulk. Did you cut it yourself, or buy it (and, if so, from where)? Didn't install one in my first Capra, but considering one for the second.

If you have access to a 3D printer, there is a rear bulkhead on Thingiverse that a user here designed.

No 3D printer, and don't have access to one. Besides, I'd really like (and prefer) the carbon fiber for the second Capra, as I've already ordered CF body panels (which should be delivered very soon).

...the bulkhead here is for mounting a receiver, and are there other elements in play? I’m asking from a really inexperienced point of view and getting ahead of decisions and choices for putting a Capra together.

Super clean and meticulous build, I’m watching and learning. All the best and I, too, am curious to see what you do with paint and such.
Peace!

I bought the bulk came from some guy in German off eBay, it was about £10

I used a piece of scrap lexan to ‘box’ in a complete looking cab. Used another scrap piece for a side bulkhead to mount electronics.

It’s a little rough but gets the job done. I have some CF but did not want to make a mess that day.

Nice! My RX arrived yesterday so i got it all set up, the dig works great and the servo has plenty of grunt, I need to hook the ESC to a pc tho, the rock racer mode isn’t working for some reason, so need to have a fiddle with the setting, oh and set a better throttle curve

That’s the RX in, I decide to ditch the HH bypass and lower the BEC voltage to 7v, the dig servo seems happy enough at that voltage, I also used a Y lead to connect up the dig servo so I could plug the light bar into it.....
