| What foams do you like?
What foams are you guys liking for the capra? I was looking at picking up some 1.9 KLR/M.

I’m using Pro-Line dual stages in a set of 4.75 Hyrax’s on VP Method 310’s and some CI Lil Nova’s in a spare set of 4.75 Hyrax’s on some boom racing wheels. Some people seem to favor one or another but for me I don’t think one is better than another.

Because my crawlers do get wet occasionally, I go with the Proline 2-stage foams. Have tried using CI 2-stage foams; but, their outter rings did not like getting wet.

I use Proline wherever I can. Unfortunately, they only make foams for their 4.75" tires currently. The only other decent option is Crawler Innovations. Quote:

I have them in 1.9" and 2.2" both in "supersoft" because my rigs are not that heavy (under 5 pounds) and the grip with Duratrax/Louise tires is fantastic. Had the recommendation from this guy from Holland : https://youtu.be/a_7qMTY9Qag They are kinda directional though ....the closed side has to go to the inside of the car. They are sold by a german RC store https://www.rc-hp.de/navi.php?qs=alt Last edited by themountain; 03-04-2020 at 08:41 AM. |
