Default Brass Beef tubes in front and rear?

Bomber to be used for trail riding and crawling. Adding beef tubes to add low weight and stiffen stock axles. I have two sets of brass but wondering if I should do aluminum in rear for a more front weight bias?

I use mine for trail riding and crawling and run brass all around. There is a such thing as too much front weight bias. My bomber can do wheelies, but only in reverse lol, and the back can lift up quite a bit on a hard sudden stop. Once I get my custom stainless steel lower arms thay will help.

I did the aluminum in the rear brass in the front. I like it. did 3-4 hours of testing and trailing with it and liked it more as time went on.

Perhaps I should make note that I run shorter (twin hammers length) trailing arms on my bomber, and as such, any axle weight has less leverage compared to stock. I can't speak for how a stock length bomber behaves.

Still learning about crawling here. So are beef tubes and burly tubes the same thing? Also what is a good brand and where sells them?

They're essentially the same thing. I've only used the actual beef tubes brand and have no reservations recommending them. Check out RPP. Great source for stuff, quick shipping, especially in Cali. Probably get your parts within 2 days

I appreciate the info, these crawlers are quite a bit different than racing 2wd buggies hahaha
