Don’t forget to check out dlux fab. Eric makes so cool sway bars as well.

I'm curious to see how durable the Vanquish V2 sway bar is, the V1 was junk. If the sway bar is to stiff I just back the set screws out so the sway bar has more flex.

I'm gonna try this out soon Axial Yeti Aluminum Anti-Sway Bar Arms - 1 Pair Gun Metal

I'm using the one that came with my Bomber kit and I have absolutely no complaints. The front end provides plenty of articulation, and torque twist is gone. It crawls up steep inclines like a boss now.

A lot of people do complain it's too stiff. It'll be interesting to see what you think.

Why was the V1 junk?

I'm also using the stock one.

I've read reports of parts of the v1 backing off even with threadlock... I guess that is what was the main complaint.

The V1 was junk because they used 3mm set screws and those set screws would always back out even with red thread lock. Most of the time when you would tighten them back up the threads on the sway bar arm would strip. The V2 only difference is a larger set screw.

So the axial bar is softer?

Where would the dlux and hot racing bars be on the list?

But you said you backed off the set screw to get more bar flex??? isn't that exactly what you said the problem was, screw backing off???
And anyway isn't that just going to flog the end off the bar & wallow out the hole in the arm, assuming the arm doesn't just fall off?

I suppose I'm confused cos I've got V1 sway bar & never had a problem with it coming loose or falling off.

I just got the hot racing front and rear sway bar. Rear bar is axial, front Hot Racing. Only ran it for about 1/2 hour. it really limits the wheel travel. At high speeds it really flatted the rig when turning. now it tips over because of the high center of gravity. took it out in the backyard and ran it. it really climbs better then before. now instead of flexing, it puts more pressure on the uphill tire for more traction. but it can flip over easy. i am only going to run it in the open and when i run it on the sand. it really did help the high speed.
