Default Driveshaft Question

I feel like an idiot, but how do you put together the stock driveshaft and the metal yoke. In the instructions, it looks like it just pushes in, but on the actual part it just doesn't want to go. Do I just push really hard or am I missing something?

Thanks!

get one pin in, then take a small flathead and pry back the other ear and it should pop in.

I had the same problem. I read somewhere on here to put the plastic end in some boiling water for only a few seconds and they will slide right in. Worked great!

Mine are starting to pop off while I am wheeling under stress. I am wondering if heating them up will help them prematurely wear-out? Now that they are popping off, whats the best way to fix it without replacing or buying the aluminum sleeves? I have a zip-tie on it, but it makes a clicking noise on every revolution because it binds on the tie...

Maybe I will try some shrink wrap?

I know a few guys that have used shrink wrap and it's helped. One thing that will cause the plastic yokes to wear faster is extreme angles. If you can get your drive shaft angles better, the yokes will last longer.
