Default Hard top HPI Bronco for UTRCRC Adventure IV

UTRCRC is having our Adventure IV this Saturday.
http://utrcrc.freeforums.org/utrcrc-...e-iv-t229.html

I broke my heel this week so I had nothing better to do than get this finished. I'm really quite happy with the result.

Here's the specs

SCX-10
Axial Alloy knuckles
Axial overdrive front ring and pinion
3Racing Winch
Proline Bumpers
Hands Bros Chassis mounted steering kit, WAY TOO COOL!
Axial Rock Sliders
Axial Mirror Kit
Styrene Hard Top
RC4WD Steel wheels
RC4WD Rok Lox 1.9 tires
Thunder Power 1320 3s Lipo
Tekin FX-R ESC
Holmes Hobbies 12t 480 Cobalt Motor

Onto the pics

Flex shot

Axial Rock Sliders

Top off

Quick and dirty bumper mounting

Thank you Hands Bros for one of the coolest products on the market

I think this will work well

I can't get enough of the new RC4WD tires and wheels

Quick velcro rear body mount

VERY NICE
Clean and not over done!!

Is the flex limited or rubs the body?
That rear wheel flex looks so perfect with the RC4WD tire up in the well

Thanks, I like clean, simple rigs.

The flex is limited and stops right as the tires start rubbing

Nice work Zach, those sliders just make it too easy! If I remember right there are some shims on the exterior detail kit that you can use to adjust the angle of the mirrors. I haven't installed mine yet so I cant remember for sure.

I used the shims but it's still a bit crooked. They don't look terrible though.

You had me curious about something... Picked up the RTR and the cage is almost a perfect fit on the Trail Ranger body

Trail Ranger body was a for sure. I've been planning on a simple tube frame but I'll have to take a look at that.

For adventure IV yes, for the big adventure in October, no

Yeah, insta-scalers are nice. I just gave it a good run through. It's a great performer too. If the hard top wasn't so heavy it would be incredible.

I couldn't help myself but I got a RTR today for my boy. I sold his CC-01 Jeep and he needed something. I would let him use this but seeing as it's turning into my 2.2 for Montana and will be getting some serious work I didn't want him trashing it.

It's already partially taken apart now but I can't figure out what to do for sure
