Default Sorry, dumb question.

Will a stock esc handle an 8.4v battery? Thinking about ordering a Tr tonight and thought I would ask that before buying.

it will handle it just fine! i ran mine on 9.6v forever, not a problem and i stil use that esc, and i herd i was good for 12v

esc blew up on 7.4.....After about 3 months And i mean it started a small flame where the wires come out

i find this odd, ive had mine for almost 2 years and running with out a prob, but a better esc helps a lot with drag brake and a lipo cut off helps
