| First Day out, First broken RC
So today was the first time taking out my new axial scx10. I was going on this Hill that had some of that plastic mesh they put down on new grass. The plastic mesh got caught around my right tire pretty bad, had to cut it off. Soon as i got it off i realized my right tire was sitting funny. When i turn left it bows out very hard( see pic #1) and when i turn right it doesnt turn very much kinda just goes straight with alot of camber. I think the steering rods( not sure the name but circled in pic#3) might have twisted down on my front axle. In the 3rd pic my wheels are pretty much straight but that bottom steering rod is angled down where i think it should be parallel with the axle. Any hep would be appreciated. Your picture is really blurry. Did the entire hub spin forward or did you break something? I hate to tell you this, but that's Axial plastic for you and it's one of the main reasons everybody with an SCX10 gets the Stage 1 kit from Vanquish or their aftermarket company of choice. |

Lucky it just spun on the axle. Loosened the bolt, spun it, tightened it back up, and its as good as new. Thanks, |

For a long run, I would suggest you go for Vanquish stage 1 kit or SSD semilar upgrade, just as Senior Jato per suggest. |

Aluminum C-Hubs will do that even worse if you put them on the stock axle housing. If it keeps happening, I'd grab at least the front SSD Pro-44 housing and aluminum C-Hubs. That will be a durability upgrade and will also add weight where you want it.

Yup, just looks spun, not broken. Your truck should have come with a very detailed instruction book, if you don't have it you can easily find it on Axial's website. I'd say a great way to fix this, and a good learning opportunity, would be to disassemble the whole problem area and reference the instructions to reassemble correctly.
