| Going Lipo with stock TR ESC
Hi everybody, is it possible to use Lipo batterys with the stock Axial ESC? The guy at the local hobby shop said I just need to install a low voltage cutoff. Has anybody tried this with the stock Axial ESC? I plan on upgrading to the Tekin FXR/35T combo sometime down the road, but I wanted to take a crack at releasing the smoke on the stock electronics first! Thanks in advance.

Just install a LVC and yyour good to go. You can also just time your runs not to drain them to far.

I feel like it is a waste to not give the stock electronics a fair chance to blow up under use! |

FWIW, I've yet to hit the lvc on my 5000 lipos on this thing, using a brushed motor and sidewinder esc. What would you set a timer for, 3 hours?
