| axial as-2 servo bearings
i apologize if this is a repost. i found that the futaba bearing conversion kit for the s3004 will work on the AS-2. i believe the part # for the kit is "futm2355" or "fsh-56" the kit will come with 4 bearings and 4 replacement caps (you dont need to use the new caps). the output gear on the AS-2 has 2 plastic bushings 1 in the cap and 1 under the gear. after replacing the bushings with the bearings from the kit all of the slop is gone. so you end up with an all metal gear, bearinged servo. draw back is it is still only 90oz. but that seems to be fine for a trail honcho. hope this helps out with anyone using an AS-2 servo that has gotten sloppy. |

my thread has nothing to do with "what you could buy" it has to do with "this will work in your AS-2 servo" thanks though |

i think its a great piece of information, for someone who doesn't have tons of money to dump into their scaler but still wants a funtional truck i think its a great piece. i guess only people who have money to waste on a 2500hd and 37's for a useless 3/4 ton truck must be able to dump money into overpowered servos for a scaler. |

$17.99 for the conversion. Just double that and get a Hitec 645MG servo...All metal gears...133oz.
