Default Honcho body modification's

Ok so I was bored today and I am waiting for a new body to get here so I messed with my honcho body. I used the cage to help mount the bed but I didnt have to cut it so I can still use it on the honcho. Has anyone else attempted this? What do you all think? Im not done, i have planes to paint the bed and maybe cut the top of bed and drop it a few inches. But here is the progress so far. just a something to mess with and see where it goes

Thought's

I've seen some bedsides on a few that looked pretty good. IIRC they were mini sct beds.

It actually dont look that bad, kinda reminds me of the old step side chevy bed they used to put on yotas in the 80's.

I think it looks pretty sick IMO. If the bed was the same color as the Body, that'd be pretty cool.

See I do like it a bit, i do agree it should match the truck. It is a scrap body i used as a crunch car for my vxl gravedigger pede. But tired of the stock rear honcho but like the front so idk Im a tinker with it see if I can

paint the bed to match

make the lines a bit cleaner in between the bed and cab

add some scale life to the bed.

add a rear bumper w/lights

This justa side project I haventmodified either the cab or the cage and wont. Just kinda wanna see what I can do with this. I may look into them sct bed's as well

Anyone else done something differant to the honcho or dingo bodies?

Well I have ordered a new body just for the bed but im gonna continue tinkering with this. I am thinking a rancher style truck and bed. Got some hay here so Im gonna make a few bales, ropes, a 5th wheel hitch for middle and a few more things.

Wont have any progress this weekend as Im going Camping with a bunch of scalers, should be fun.
