got the new proline wrangler unlimited Got it in the mail last night and painted it today. love it and cant wait to get it dirty. What do you think? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0015.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0016.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0017.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0018.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0019.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0022.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0023.jpg |
looks good, but how are the bumpers holding with the servo tape attatched to the body? |
actually they are holding on fine. i am kinda worried about setting the body down when i take it off the frame but the tape actually holds really well. i thought i might have to put some small nuts and bolts on the front and back but i don't think ill have to do that for a long time. I did a little crawling about the yard and over some brinks and the bumpers didn't hit anything so, ... so far so good |
i like the body, i bought my new bright body from ebay and a few days later proline released that one... here is mine http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial-scx-10/274146-am-i-expecting-much-honcho.html last couple posts has pictures with body on |

Nice work, the green color is sweet "thumbsup" |
thanks guys. i want to get a roof rack for it for a cooler and what not but i like it so far. ill keep up on the pics to show little changes i do here and there and when it gets dirty. As for the green, ya i dont have a 1.1 yet but when i get one its going to look just like this one |
I'm buying one after seeing this! |
Those bodys are real nice. Nice paint. |
ive changed a few stickers but nothing big. i like the clean (no sticker) look. i also noticed a defect in the body. it has a wrinkle in it down the side. u can kinda tell from the picks |
I think it looks great, are those stock honcho tires/wheels? |
yup. stock shocks too. i just added weights to the inside of the wheels |
Look killer, the tires and rims fit well with that body. Are the lights on the fenders functional? |
thanks. no they are not functional. I don't want to deal with wires connecting to the body. So with this Body i have no lights. |

Here is a few more pictures depicting the body and close-ups on where the bumpers meet the body. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0024.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0025.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0026.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0027.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0028.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...0/DSCI0029.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...DSCI0015-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...DSCI0018-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...DSCI0019-1.jpg |
my rig is a scx10 honcho frame with a Novak 55t motor and rooster crawler ESC. I LOVE IT. It has just the right slow speed scrawling capabilities i was looking for and TONS of torque. |
looks good! but the fenders arent black like the 1:1 so that makes it look kinda dumb, and the gun on the hood, thats kinda stupid IMO |

As for the fenders. Your wrong and need to know what the hell your talking about before you post some random crap. The 1.1 comes either way. i thought about doing them black but i wanted the painted look. i think its cleaner. thanks for the thoughts though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...r_4door_07.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...x10/images.jpg |
