a few things to gain VS stock scx10.
  • Weight up front above the axle
  • Motor off the transmission for the GRU
  • Room for the Rx box using a TRX 1/16th Slash box /modified
  • Servo off the axle

Custom template for floorpan to mount things onto:

Wow, cool stuff. I hadn't even thought of anything like that. Can't wait to see it running.

spent some time doing the electronics but still confused on this CC BEC?
i think i have it correct but am scared to cook another servo here....
i have the power direct off the 7.2v stickpack, then the other 2 wires
Red (+) and Brown (-) to the servo with the Orange wire doing nothing.
Then the signal wire from the servo into the Rx, but....my last hs645mg was goofin??

Throttle and no steer
(or)
No throttle and has steer
(but)
when you did throttle but not touching steer the servo jumped/jittered all over like a funky chicken?

hrmmm?

booty fab

Bumpsteer, servo relocation, etc.... (driveaxle hanging cuz i still have NO VF Dig!)

Articulation aint too shabby....

Bodywork needed:
- Filler work to hood, paint flat black
- Paint left door dark red
- Simulated rust to holes in panels
- Trim fender flares, CA glue to body

Parts still waiting for:
- Rockbuster tires
- VF Dig (if i dont see this by this friday ill assume ive been ripped off by the member i purchased this from.
- Winch
- Gunnar beef tube (Rr axle)
- NVS light system
- HS645mg servo

Dealing with the electronics:

Note: Still have to tidy things up for the wiring but still dealing with the electronics and placement issues. The pic above shows where the
7.2v stickpack will be mounted. With this being said....i think the gunnars will go up front now to give it that edge.

Anyway you can get that battery tray further forward, say in front of the ESC? I can tell you now, you won't like it being back there, especially since you're going to run a full size NiMH pack.

Booty fab is done with hand tools. Back a few years ago it was how most crawlers were built.
