Default SCX10 II axles or SCX10 axles with UD/OD??

Hello Everyone,

I have the SCX10 for 3 years now, full upgraded.

I'm thinking on changing the SSD D60 axles from the SCX10 to the new ones from the SCX10 II.

I have now the Axial HD Gears with overdrive in the front and underdrive in the rear, it crawls great.

With the scx10II axles I would have more ground clearance.

Is there any news about the OD UD gears for the SCX10 II axles.

Should I wait for them to be released or do you think that It will be better with the new SCX10 II axles even with normal diff gears?

What do you think?

The only 2 options so far (that I’m aware of) is HR (Hot Racing) 27/8 and XtraSpeeds 28/8 variations. Haven’t tried them out personally, but there are members here that use them.

Using the stock 30/8 with the 27/8 doesn’t sound too extreme for regular trail speed use but I could be wrong. An Idea I had was to use the 28/8 and a 27/8 for wide use and not only slow crawling.

My experience with the HR upgrade products has been great and take a lot of abuse.
Not familiar with XtraSpeeds durability.
