Default holes in axles....

can screws be put in the holes in the axles to prevent anything from getting in there or is this a no no?

Yes you can. Just make sure they aren't too long to rub the axle.

thank you man.. i posted a thread about using my honcho in sand and the no 1 thing said was about sand and water getting in these holes. so i was curious if these holes could be blocked off to prevent such happenings. just did not know if it would cause some kind of problem.. thanks for the super speedy reply. you rock... no pun intended..

ide get some permatex black silicon and put that on the holes!

Default what about...

what about liquid tape? so pretty much sealing them is good... lol cause as long as its ok i will seal them biz nitches up good... can i use dielectric grease to try and seal axle ends? or will this cause too much friction like putting too much red and tacky on gears? appreciate the help..

I don't think dielectric grease would cause any harm. It's a pretty thin grease.

I would fill the axle housing with marine grease.

I would just take some saran wrap, wrap it around the center of the axle, and take a blowdryer to it, I dont see how that wouldnt work, except for scraping...
