well there's lots of stuff depending on your fab skills. you could swap out to a different body, make bungee cords, cooler, tow straps.. build yourself front and rear bumpers and sliders, waterproof the rig, snorkle, change tires/rims, upgrade the ESC and receiver, upgrade to aluminum c-hubs, knuckles etc

there's plenty of stuff to do on these things.

I noticed that while looking at pictures on the internet. Some of the SCX-10 Trannies were backwards. Why is that?

Torque twist is the correct answer, but it is not so much related to "frame twisting" Torque twist is the phenomenon when the truck want's to lift a tire (typically the right front on an SCX) when under power. By pplacing the motor on hte passenger side, it's weight helps to combat the action, much like adding a stiffer spring to the left rear shock. Try holding both rear tires with your feet, and hit the throttle. Your SCX will attempt to lift it's right front tire off the ground. That is torque twist. It can happen anytime a tire is locked up. If the front is bound up, the left rear will lift.

Doing this does not cure the actual torque twist. It simply masks some of it.

NOW BACK ON TOPIC

What exactly are you into? Trail runs? Wet fun? High speed bashing?

You should really base you next upgrade based off what your preference is,

I would personally upgrade to lipo battery, and/or add a high torque steering servo (200 oz minimum) Both a big upgrades to overall performancce.

well I drove it once and loved it and im into trail running so Im probly gonna waterprofe it after I get my body and reciever. Also I am working of a design for some bumpers i just need a body for some mesurements and I can start making them. Im going to work on a swing out spare tire carrier for a tj or jk what ever I can find soon and cheap. I will also make most of my stuff unless it is cheaper to just buy it.

One of the best upgrades for any Axial is metal outdrives for the tranny. Either the axial ones or there are aftermarket one piece with the gear the outdrives bolt to. It is a pain to change in the field. The stock aluminum ones are pretty prone to failure. Plus the driveshafts usually stay tight to the steel ones much better then they do to the stock aluminum ones.

Other then that maybe try some different tires for different terrains. It is always fun to get a new set of tires or wheels. They can be the best performance bang for the buck there is depending on what you like to drive on terrain wise. The stock Flat Irons are great, but for some things there are better choices.
