| scx10 trail honcho new motor
hy,i have a scx10 honch rtr and have the stock 27t brushed motor,and ae2 esc with drag break,just looing for some help to pick motor that is torquey,controlleble at low speeds,im happy with wheel speed of my rtr at the moment.will brushless motor work with stock esc.plus i dont wana spend a fortune lol |

If you have the stock Axial esc then you can not use a brushless motor, it it brushed only. You have a few choices. You can get a better 27turn motor. If you want a little more low speed controll then you could go with something in about a 35 turn from Holmes Hobbies. He has a lot to pick from depending on budget. A quality 35 turn will give you about as much speed as a cheap 27, but be much smoother and controllable on slow stuff. cool,so what 35t brushed would you recommend that would work with the ae2?i think i will stick with the brushed
