Red face MIP length question

I've got a used set of MIPs that I picked up for my scx10 but I think I've got both of the long ones. Which ones do I need for the standard wb scx10 (not honcho)? Did I get the wrong ones?

if I'm not mistaken, there's only one set (length wise) made for the SCX10, and they fit both the longer wheelbase of the Honcho, and the shorter wheelbase of the Dingo.

the longer MIPs are for the AX10; the joints will bolt onto the transmission and axle, but I don't think they'll compress short enough to install

if you're positive they came off an SCX10, then they SHOULD fit

if you've got them, why not just go ahead and try to bolt them on?

I've got them bolted on and they fit at the absolute shortest length they'll go to and it's a semi-tight fit. The front almost seems like it's binding somewhat...I'm just wondering if I'd be better off with the dig version on the front and leave the longer one on the rear.
