Default Wraith or XR10 Shocks

Just wondering if anyone has tried Wraith or XR10 shocks on their rigs? I know the Wraith are about 10mm longer but not sure about the XR10. I'm not trying to lift the truck any just really want to get the suspension working a little better.

Here's a pic of Wraith shocks on a Honcho. See Build (It's Gonna B Big)

It will add a ton of height.

I just got some Wraith shocks from RPP salvage from a Wraith kit. They will raise the height without internally limiting them. But I am pretty impressed with them. Much beefier then stock SCX versions. I did want something taller then the stock ones anyway as they are going on a rig with 2.2 Boggers (5.75 inch tall) so I did want the height. I can't tell too much about them as I haven't run them yet but will be tomorrow or this week. but they seem like a well made shock. I really liked how the shock pistons mount with a nut rather then tiny e clips. I hate those things more then anything else in the rc world (mounting shock pistons and trying to get the tiny e clips on). I have had so many of those things fly across the room trying to assemble them.

The springs are a little stiff, since they are made to run on the heavier Wraith. But I agree I like them better than the stock Honcho ones.

Hmmm I'll have to think about what I want to do. I can deal with the extra length and lower to my liking. But the stiff springs definitely won't help matters any.

I have been thinking about using the LCC(Losi Comp Crawler) shocks. Has anyone tried them? I used to have a LCC and thought they were pretty good. Had a soft spring. Might work alright on the SCX10.
