Default RCTRUX's SCX10 Honcho

Hey everyone this is a thread about my Honcho, i love this truck! I am running an all stock TR except for an xl5 and Titan 12 turn motor from traxxas.

If you have any tips on things I should upgrade let me know.

There are many things... here is a few parts on the list:

Aluminum links, wishbones and tirod
outdrive (for the shafts to attach to) get a steel one for about 10 or 20 bucks
new rims (i recommend black)
new tires (i recommend the MT's 1.9 Baja Claws)
new beadlocks (i still have stock ones, but i still recommend silver beadlocks)
wolfpack batteries (3600 mah)
The rims come with black hubs, so paint the front ones red if you can and as detailed as possible so that it looks more scale
Rpm 6-light, light bar (i have it and it looks really cool!
Any spektrum controller (i have the DX3E it was the cheapest spektrum controller and it is a lot more comfortable.
The controller comes with a servo
The controller also come with a reciever the controller and bother of those things for $100

all together that stuff would be as much as your crawler and more..... and as i said this is only part of the list...

Good luck!

that would really cool! Yeah the hobbytown i go to sucks... but yours might be better... Heres an example why mine sucks:

So we were buying batteries for our crawlers and there were 2000 mah batteries for 20 bucks. and then somewhere else they wern't in the area (probably because they cost less) there were batteries that were 3000 mah for 15 bucks. That pissed me off.

So now i got to tammies hobbies. They have a waaaaaay bigger and better selection and you can buy boats there!

The Titan and xl5 is fine if your going to bash, but if you want to crawl, dump it and go wit a holmes esc and 35t motor. Get rid of the stock battery tray, mount your electronic up over the axle, mount the servo on the frame (the GCM mount is great as it the hands bros). You don't need big batteries, 2200 3s are great.

I would also wait till you break before you replace the shafts and ourselves. Aluminum Cs and knuckles are great and i would hit up xirtic on here for some delrin sleeved links, they beat aluminum hands down.
