what i need for scx10 trail honcho for tundra body

Hi I'm new to the rc world and don't know much but I have a scx 10 trail honcho and would like to put a full tunra body on it. I checked other forums but got mixed results.thank you

Do I need to extend wheel base for it. That's were I got confused. Thank you

the honcho wheelbase is 12.3 inches and the tundr body wheelbase is 12.25 inches. so probably not

You would have to know the wheelbase of the tundra body vs the wheelbase of your scx10.
You will of course need to fabricate some sort of body mounting system.
Some people use thin sheet metal and Velcro.
Another way is to make some steel floor pans that go from the chassis to the body.
There are a few nice tundra rigs out there, just gotta search by title.

Do they only sale the bed seperate from the cab and is there only one size thank you for your help

im pretty sure there is only one size. and you will have to buy some of the parts seperately to peice together the body

yea you can't help yourself to a tundra body in one swift move. you will need to buy the bed, cab, and all the little nick knacks that go with it like grill, headlight and tail light assemblies... it's not going to be cheap either. my guess is by the time you are all said and done you will be into it for right around 75 bucks not painted and that might be leaving out small things like wipers or doorhandles.

best buy at this point for you would be to invest in a star here and support the site. that will give you quick access to the buy sell trade section here at RCC.
in there you can post an ad that you are looking for a used tundra body and that you would like to see what is available. even then i can't promise people will be blowing up your mailbox with pm's for a tundra body. they seem to get snatched up pretty quick around here.
