Default Finally got a honcho but need help with the shocks

I was wondering what i should do wit the shocks because I believe I blew a seal in the front shock after only one run .. should I rebuild or find different shocks??

from my experience, the axial stock shocks leak. alot.

you can rebuild them, just pull them off, un thread the top and refill and remove the bubbles as you would with any other shock.

i think they are filled with 30wt, thats what comes with the kit at least.

I put traxxas blue o-rings in my scx10. I haven't gotten to drive it yet, but they seem to be holding. I also have a pair of traxxas shocks, and dang are they nice! They are kinda big, but they have never ever leaked or caused any problems

I don't run oil in my Axial shocks anymore.. It all leaks out anyway... I just put in enough to lube them up.. Honcho handles like a dream without it anyway.. And suspension movement looks and feels more realistic.

Thanks for that fordrox.. I use my scx-10 shocks on my comp rig an they leak pretty good, but boy do they work!

As for my scaler, I run Traxxas big bores with Lcc white springs, they don't leak an they work great! Always a good option..
