Default My First Crawler

Hi all, I've been lurking on the forum for the past few weeks reading, reading and reading some more. I wasn't even aware of the whole crawling scene until a couple of months ago and now I'm like, 'where have you been all my life?'

I bought myself a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and have been busy building and upgrading it for the last 3 weeks or so. I've tried very hard to avoid loads of newbie questions and have found this forum to be an excellent resource.

I had a pal paint my shell which I've just got back and I've just taken the first pictures and video of the rig. It's not completely finished yet, are they ever, but it's looking pretty cool.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my rig, I'm in the UK where parts are ridiculously expensive and relatively hard to come by. I'm running a Tekin FXR with a Tekin 45T and a Savox 1270TG running at 7.4V from a CC-BEC.

For now some pictures and link to a quick video:-

If you plan to actually use it, might want to swap out that winch for something stronger. I have the same one, it sucks!

Thanks chaps. That winch was pretty cheap so I don't expect it to last that long. The hook has already failed and I have a replacement on order.

I took it for its first proper run and made a video, I'm loving it!
