Default Driveshaft problems.

Hey all, hoping one of you guys have had a similar issue and can offer so e guidance. I have been running my dingo kit for almost 2 years with no issues. Not being one to leave well enough alone, I recently installed some upgrades. The first is a tekin hand wound 35t (being run off a traxxas vileneon 3s esc) and mip drive shafts (thicker half, or female end towards the axles), the truck now has a wobble and vibration it never had before. It's alright when crawling extremely slow but any more throttle it seems as though the whole thing wants to rattle itself apart. Can anyone help me out on this one?
Thanks!
-bryan

are your tires clean and balanced? its the most rotating mass that can cause wobbling.

Check your joints on the drive shaft if they are binding . it should be smooth in all directions. Also check to see if your wheelbase is long enough. Compress your suspension and check the splines. You can mess around with rod ends and lengthen your wheelbase like that.

Check to see if your tires are balanced or if u have weights. Im having the same problem, I just installed mip driveshaft and i got vibration when giving more throttle. I just tested it without the wheels and tires and no vibration, so My problem is somewhere in the wheels and tires...update this thread of you figure it out.

Ring and pinions are in the differentials. The big gear is the ring gear. The smaller one is the pinion. If the pinion is not at the right angle it can cause problems. The angle of the pinion should be pointed upward at the transmission. If when you compress the suspension ( bottom out the shocks, look at it from the side of the truck) and it points level (not at an upward angle) you need to change your angles by lengthening or shortening your upper or lower links. You can look at a real car or trucks driveshafts angles to see what im talking about. Rear wheel drive or 4x4 only(not a fwd). And don't look at a lifted 4x4 because the angles may not be correct. Hope this helps!

Try running it with just the rear shaft, then just the front shaft to see if it changes.

+ with no wheel, put it on flat surface and apply a bit thrtl, check for wobbling on transmission end.
I heard somewhere on this forum MIPs are not so good at holding angles as stock Axial WB8 (especially if you have lift). That could cause binding.

I figured mine out today, line up the pins on each end of the driveshaft like the way its illustrated for the axial wb8, and that stopped my vibration...hope that helps.

Well, pulled the wheels and no wobble, anybody sell scale rim weights? Lol
