| Wanting a motor and esc for my tuber.
Okay so I recently bought a tube chassis off of Colby and I put scx axles under it. I currently run an traxxas xl5 esc and an axial 20t and I'm running it on a Turnigy 2200mah 2s lipo. It has loads of torque and a little speed, but like some of us, I want more. My dad recently bought a Tekin rs 17.5t for his wraith and I was wondering if I should put the same motor on the buggy and put it on a 3300mah 3s for speed runs. I WANT IT TO ROCK BOUNCE but should I get the 17.5t or the Tekin 13.5t, I would like to crawl a little as well, but if you have any other suggestions dont hesitate to comment, all comments will be taken into consideration! |

The tekin rs is a good choice, for racing, however, for a 4wd crawler it probably wouldn't have the torque you would need. So, if I were you, I would get a Holmes hobbies BR-XL on a HH torque master 21t with a 3s battery. It would have plenty of power and speed.

If you are going to spend most of the time going fast and doing a little bit of crawling then you should think about a sensored brushless system. Checkout the Tekin ROC 412 3100 along with the Castle MMP or Tekin RS esc. |
