Maxxis Treps better backwards?

Anyone tried? I intend to. Weather has been wet here recently and they are seriously terrible traction wise. If I run my finger over them they are more like slicks than off road tyres. There just no bite. :-/

Did a lot of trailing today and some of it on wet rocks. The Maxxis worked much better IMO reversed.
