Default bmuzz1's SCX Hilux Build

I am building this truck for my trip to Cali in July.

Since I sold my Wreckluse I was in need of another 1.9 and have always loved the Hilux builds I have seen over the years so I decided to do my own.

I will be running an SCX chassis, axial tranny, T-Rex 60 axles with XVD's, billet diff cover in front and custom bash guard that I made in the rear. I'll also be running 90mm scale shocks from rc4wd, new steel beadlocks, Tomahawk 1.9's, Bulldog winch and much more.
for electrics I will be using a Sidewinder esc, Hobbico CS-150 servo, castle bec, and a full set of LED's.

These first few pics are just teaser pics because the chassis and body are at my friend Lee's (The Real Dogman) house getting the custom bumper and slider treatment right now and wont be back for a few days yet if all goes well.

The tool box will house my 3s 2200 15c lipo. It's also the color of the truck.

I should have some updates on this build by this weekend if all goes well so grab a seat, some popcorn and stay tuned.

It is diamond plate 1/48 styrene sheet that I got from Tower hobbies. It is like plastic sheet.
