Default Scx10 ax10 lower links

I have been researching for days now and cannot seem to find clear info on this matter. I want to upgrade my lower links on my honcho. At first I really wanted to do aluminum in red. I looked up the size (98-106) and could not find a kit or even matching front and rear that I could buy separately. I found a kit from duratrax for the ax10 uppers and lowers,

Duratrax Upper Lower Links GC3A Axial AX10 Crawler DTXC6625 | eBay

Now to be clear this is my second choice so if anyone has a line on red aluminum let me know, but for the price uppers and lowers its not bad. Will this work on the honcho?
Any info or pics of would your running would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys

The measurements I gave are the axial optional lower links, end to end. I don't have the size of the duratrax that's what I need to know.

I was once perplexed by my links too. I with a DIY route. 8/32" stainless all-thread, RPM Rod Ends and 1/4" stainless brake lines were my final solution. They look great, perform great and are a little overkill. For less than $20 and a feeling of accomplisment. You really can't beat it.

Do you have any pictures of that? That's not what I want to do but if it come do to it I will. Also why 1\4 why not 3/16? Do you keep the all thread as one long piece or does it thread into both side as two different pieces?

8/32 allthread 1/4" aluminum tubing.....and a package of tracxxas rod ends with the metal ball joints the allthread will thread into the rod ends...cut it to length you want then slide the tubing over the allthread tighten it up and your good

can you make your own bent links this way? I guess it would require cutting and putting the ends on then bending to get the tubing and everything just right. would be easier to bend when its longer, but now would you cut the tubing off?

I think it would be easier to make long then bend it to the correct length.

Well other then the DIY answer (thank you for your input.) it looks like know body knows about that kit or where to get red lowers. so I guess will build them myself. I saw some copper brake line at work and thought that, that would look pretty cool too. I will pick the stuff up I need tonight and tomorrow. Thanks for the push in the right direction DIY ers.

I have all I need to make them, is there any advantage in making them longer or shorter?

I dunno it depends on what ya wanna do with it.....you can use the upper link to clock the axles but for me it's usually a wheelbase thing
