Why do you want a lift kit? It will only make the performance worse...

So the 2.2s on m jeep know dont look so damn big and I have wide axles off of a wraith i was goin to use... So I can widen its stance... To make up for the lift... Not a good idea??? I need to start proof reading holy cow!!! Dont the tires look big on there or ok??? Last edited by THX_138; 09-09-2013 at 11:37 PM. |

If you go up too high, you'll end up on your roof or side than on your wheels having fun. Now you can always add wheel weights in the tires and on the wheel. Make sure to use electrical tape to keep them on the wheel!!! | |

I just put LCC shocks on mine and it gave it a decent lift, with more articulation to boot. Only problems is the stock springs are a bit soft.

If y go on eBay they sell a lift kit/droop kit for the scx10 its about $15-20 all they r are little brckets with holes drilled in them and u mount the either with more holes up to for droop or towards the ground for a lift and u don't have to change shocks on my old scx10 I ran them as droop setup on the plates not the shocks and ran 120mm shocks my truck had giant 2.2s it was huge all around but anyways u can always get a piece of metal or thick plastic and make the kit yourself just look on eBay and use the design and make your own |

Looks pretty cool as is, like a north pole/arctic cruiser.. I have a lift kit on my scx with 4" big bores.. I actually lifted the front an lowered the rear.. with all my weight forward on the chassis, it sat nose down. Bigger shocks is a way to go. Then if it sits too high, you can run a limiting strap in the center of ur chassis down to ur link plate. Put it in the center and it will limit ur ride height but give you full articulation.. |

Thanks for all the info guys looking in to longer shocks... I have another pic on a thread it called Newbie Jeeb Build... There I had the Trenchers on it and it looked straight like the polar/artic whatever look...

ive got the level3 rc lift kit on the front of my scx10, and there shock relocation kit on the rear. I have a 13 inch wheelbase and 110mm rc4wd shocks and I can crawl over a lot of things stock honchos and dingos cant get over. so the one person saying it hurts the performance. your wrong. course I built my rig to be scale and to crawl. |

I run 100mm King shocks on mine. Lifts it just a bit and has a little more flex than stock.
