Fresh meat and SCX10

New to RCCrawler, not new to the RC world. I had a WK that got my crawler light sparked, and I have moved on to an SCX10. My first post.

It has seen some transition prior ti what it looks like now. At first the stock wheel/tire setup had to go (plus I didnt have a 5th one)

So I got the 1.9 beadlocks from Axial. First I tried the 1.9 Mud Slingers. but they were much too small. and soft, at least for my taste.

http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps8qzanfpa.jpg

So then I went with the TSL Bogger's. They looked much better than the Slingers and filled up the wells much nicer. But then they rubbed the body/bumper even with the body posts all the way upon stock shocks. So another change had to be made

She currently has: XL5 w/ LVD, Venom Atomik 35t, Wraith shocks, Pro-Line wide bumper set, STRC upper links, STRC with Axial rod ends/balls to make the kit. Waiting on my 4-link rear mount (I didnt get my truck as a kit, traded for it)
And weighted Creeper beadlocks with Imex Swamp Dawgs.

I like where it sits right now, and cant wait to get it outside to test. I need a 2x12 to get across my creek in the back 9 there is gobs of trees with awesome roots across there in the woods lol

STRC knuckles/Shock posts, battery tray over the front axle with spacers on the screws to give room to the servo.

Re: Fresh meat and SCX10

Time to Necro-bump this. A LOT has changed over the course of then, to now.

Its a Honcho now, RC4WD KC HiLites Lightbar, HH BR Mini/CC BEC set to 6.0v for the Savox SA1230-SG (Overkill @ 500oz/in ?)

4 link all the way around. RR trans gear set (locked), MIP's, Axial high-clearance knuckles/adjustable hubs. BPC Pork tubes up front (need their batt tray), RC4wd sliders, RC4WD Recovery/Winch bumper (still need to mount my WARN), RC Rock Armor small rear bumper w/ hitch. Axial 1.9s with 1oz in each front tire, 1/2oz in rears w/ MT Baja Claw TTC (4.75"). Absolutely love this setup.

Here is a more recent pic but with some 2.2s and my Swamp Dawgs before bring it back down to earth on the 1.9s

Planning on either CMS or new link relocated to passenger side.

No dig, just OD gears up front. Standard trans w/ RR locked setup/hardened outputs.

I have never really had any interest in digs or 2spd trans

don't blame the yoopers, we were still in the mitten, not across the bridge yet.but it is nice "up" there also.i really like the snowmobile/atv paths along the side of the roads with their own stop signs.i'm 4 hours from in/mi. line, due south.

How did you make (or maybe buy) the LED lightbar on the Front Bumper of the Orange Jeep?

Cool SCX10s!

Hi Ghost, Those are from the Axial CRC lightbar set. (Part # AX31152)

http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...psrq2momrd.jpg

It includes all cases to make these bars/pods,as well as the mounts for the JK/G6/Deadbolt. Only thing missing is the LEDs and high-output 3port controller.

Here is a bit better of a shot of it:
