| Another RTR JK but with 1:1
...kinda. one day they'll be true twins. here's a pic of them pretty much stock: just got it like a month ago and i've already fried an esc, broke a steering knuckle and gave the underside a good beating Mods: flip & beef-up wb8 drive shafts angle shocks custom aluminum suspension & steering links 4 link front relocate electronics/LCG battery plate(where rx box was) waterproof everything ball bearing in AS-3 servo some weight in the front wheels (haven't opened them up yet tho!) holmes hobby brxl wp / torquemaster pro 35t 15/87 trans gearing underdriven rear needs: 3s lipo better servo mirror trans wheels/ci foams/tires vp 8* ack setup n lockouts better shafts and axles better shocks (proline or bigbores?) aluminum servo horn money, girls & beer more pics tomorrow! been lurking this site since i got this thing. learned a lot and wish i could thank you all |

i agree! i have one already but i think i got a bad one. the back looks sloppy n deformed.

pics as promised: nothing special, no real fabrication. just links and an esc plate i like being out playing around more than being in the house fixing. my pics will probably reflect that. i live walking distance to some really good spots to crawl on rocks, play in mud & sand. just gotta be careful for the saltwater! it was stupid not to own one of these sooner. i'm pretty much out here everyday. |

Nice job on the upgrades. I do have some questions regarding the front 4-link relocation. How difficult was it? And did you see improvements in handling and articulation? I'm looking at this RTR and the new Deadbolt. I know they're both different platforms but I'm leaning more to the SCX10. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk |
