Default body posts in RTR honcho

If I decide to go with the RTR I would like to order the Proline Jeep Wrangler Rubicon at the same time. There is a note for this body that states that should you want to mount it on the SCX10 that you require the body post set AX80031.

Now from what I can gather from the pics and vids I have seen of the RTR and kit honcho is that the rear posts use are the shorter ones. This would mean that the bigger rear body post AX80031(2) is not used. This then means that I will not have to order a complete new body post tree....correct?

Also there are many spare parts trees that come with the RTR but I cannot find an RTR only manual (assume that the kit manual is used) that states exactly what is included. All reviews and vids show the complete sealed bag and say "spare shock, light and spare parts"! Can someone please list the exact parts trees that you get in the spare parts bag?

So you havent ordered the Honcho yet? If not, I think all of the kits come with what you would need in it. They always have extra parts. It is cheaper for the manufacturers (Axial in this case) to make parts trees that have parts for multiple vehicles or versions of a vehicle then to make a bunch of exact ones for all of their kits. If you look at this link it is for the directions for the RTR and it shows on page 6 that the correct rear body mount is included in the kit.

That being said, I have never ordered a RTR and always gotten the kits that need assembly. So I am not positive that when you buy a pre assembled model if it comes with the left over parts or not. I am sure someone will chime in to clarify this. Good luck either way!

The kit comes with the taller rear body post set and other good parts. I prefer to build my own, so that is what I bought. Don't know about the rtr.

the RTR i bought a couple weeks ago comes with several body posts. i believe the one you need is the tall one with the "X" in the center? if so, it comes with it.

Cheers everyone

Thanks for the manual link Rook82. I somehow missed that one on the Axial site!

Yip Perkolator, it is the one with the "X" pattern. Do they give you a complete new tree or just the left-over bits like this "X" part still attached to the tree?

What other spare parts trees do you get as well as other bits and pieces?
Would you be able to take a pic of it all?
The TR manual does not show what is supplied as spare parts, just the standard build parts!
