Wrangler G6 vs Honcho Are there any advantages or disadvantages in chosing one over the other? |
Re: Wrangler G6 vs Honcho Jeep has different tires, bumpers, and no lights. honcho has different tires from the jeep, different bumpers, and has lights. Do you like jeeps or offroad pickups more? pick the style that you enjoy more and run with it. |
Re: Wrangler G6 vs Honcho yea they are both the same exact truck except the bumpers, body, and tires. I love jeeps so I picked that one but then you have to buy lights unless you buy the honcho |
Re: Wrangler G6 vs Honcho the G6 kit is set up for a 12.0" wheel base whereas the Honcho kit pushes that to 12.3" wheel base. the majority of bodies out there are more commonly designed to fit either the shorter 11.4" or 12.3" wheel base. The G6 finds itself nestled between Axial's short and long wheel base offerings. And body changes could require changing out link lengths to fit. I myself, prefer the longer wheel base of the Honcho. |
Re: Wrangler G6 vs Honcho The G6 is a kit which allows you to build to your specs and pick your own electronics, the Honcho is a RTR. Do you want plug and play or an in-depth build? Edit: Just read your other posts. I say go with the build. I just built my first kit (G6) and really enjoyed it. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/axial...-g6-build.html Even with the RTR you want a nice set of tools to work it. Even out of the box, its recommended to go over every nut and bolt, and shocks too. |
