The reason its going to be "pissed off" is because i will be adding eye brows to the head lights. Just like this. I will also be getting some Poison Spyder accessories and gubbins

Super duper small update i mirrored the trans but i need flat head screws instead of the cone shaped one that i have now. Also I might have found a cheap way to color metal parts. Its called Plasti dip and i was thinking about stripping the paint off my chassis to paint it blue also might do this with my wheels to depends on how well it works.
Does anyone have an easy way to strip paint off? I was thinking dot 3/4 brake fluid.

Nevermind, you were asking for the frame, really any paint lacker should work, as long as it's for the frame only.

Easy Off Original Oven clean, has to be the Original one, not extra strength or what not, it'll take paint off layer by layer but won't damage plastic.

plastidip will flake off on the chassi, but i have thought about plasti dipping my body. What colors/color did you use and how well did it turn out? Have any pics of it?

I went with black and painted in the dark (and ran out of paint) so it's far from perfect. I need another can to throw down one more even coat. I'll snap new pics when I get home, heres one i took this morning but it came out super grainy (too dark out)
http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/...psgddobphl.jpg

and yeah, it might eventually start to wear off on the frame (or anywhere that will be grinding on rocks) but if you lay down a thick enough coat, it should resist pretty well (It's basically just coating it in rubber) which may actually hinder "sliding" over things

I do know a local body shop that offers the plasti-dip recommend it and say it won't chip from rocks on the freeway

I assume you painted it on the inside of the body? Yeah im just going to scrap the idea for the chassi and move on to either the body or wheels or maybe both! They have some really nice bright colors and they are pretty cheap!

*edit* got the picture to work! The is one great looking Deadbolt! Great Job!

Painted outside since the rtr body is bright orange but ill let you know how it holds up, but the more I thought bout it, your buddy might be right on plastids piping the frame.

But for wheels or other parts that won't see rocks, that should work

ok thanks man! yeah i have been thinking about the chassi to and i believe hes correct. He also brought up a good point about the wheels too though, what it a sharp rock gets in there? But really how often does that happen? So like i sad before body (if yours goes well on the outside the inside should totally be fine) and wheels!

Well after looking for a Body and seeing how crazy the price is for a lexan body I might just be going with a Jeep G6 body instead? I have only seen one person do this so at least it will be different!

Thanks man! but seems like the Wrangler body is just too out of my budget right now so im going to go for the G6 version. I was also wondering what links did you have to use to make the wheel base fit the body?
