Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS I just did the swap, runs great but the drive shafts are rubbing the upper links, even after I shaved them. What Driveshaft would you recommend? I need a thinner one in diameter. Thanks for any help. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps128e0d62.png http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps7436d898.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps33bf4dcc.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps485b81f1.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps190dcc1d.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps73f2f264.jpg |
Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS high clearance 30degree upper links would help. |
Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS I made bent upper links for mine with Allthread. But, it looks lime you could get away with flipping the trans. |

You need to flip your axles so the diff cover is on the other sidehttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/24/bu5y5e4y.jpg Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk |

This is how mine is and the drives hafts have been fine for well over a year. Mine has a 12.5" wheelbase though and yours looks shorter. |
Its just over 13, i can measure it for you when I got home from work if you like Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk |

I know my scx-10 is shorter than my Wraith |
Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS I had it out on the rocks today, Drove great but like you guys stated...longer wheel base would be great and different upper links to eliminate rubbing. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps128e0d62.png http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps890fbf63.png http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...psd0e44322.png http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps520313ac.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...psa0e48108.jpg http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...psbc75448d.jpg |
Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS Then I swapped the tires out...they were too damn big! These 2.2's are way better http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps33cacdc1.jpg |

Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS I made all my links so I just made them to the length I wanted and needed. I am not sure what you would need as far as buying them other than measure what you have and talk to somebody that makes the like VP or Chaotic Crawlers and tell them what you have and what you want. |
Re: Wraith axles installed into SCX10- Driveshaft help...PICS 1 Attachment(s) This is the way I've got my links, full flex both ways, no rubbing on driveshafts. Wb is 12.5 |
